Low EPC-values

This is a new housing project near Winterswijk railway station. The objective is to realise an energy-neutral building with very low EPC-values. In, among other things, design, location, use of materials and the choice of installations, efforts are made towards a maximum contribution to environment-friendly solutions.

Reproduciblity

An important element in this project is the reproducibility of the applied concept. In accordance with international standards, the ‘Passiv Haus’ concept has been chosen for this project. High-comfort buildings with an energy-consumption for heating of less than 15 Kw/h per square metre may receive the German ‘Passiv Haus’ stamp. In ‘Passiv’ houses, the passive source of solar energy is used for heating and power-generation.
