Organisation

EFL is an European Association with members. Legally registered as European Economic Interest Group (EEIG).

The organisation is composed by:

General Assembly: The General Assembly is the highest gremium in EFL. The GA meet three times per year.

Executive Board: The daily operations are coordinated by the EB. The chairman of the Executive Board presides the meetings of the EB and the GA.

Managing Director: Responsible for the operations, coordination and general management.

Working Groups: composed by staff of the EFL members. Responsible for exchange of experiences and expertise, production of deliverables and products. Current working groups (2012):

Project groups: cooperation in realisation of projects. Currently the EFL members work out a model of low construction costs. To be realised in 2012-2013. There are more project groups.

EU project groups: EFL members and third parties cooperate in EU funded projects. At the moment in the INTERREG Program IStay@Home. During 2012-2013 new EU funded projects will be applied for. Relevant EU programms include the FP7 , Intelligent Energy Europe (IEE), Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) and INTERREG.

EFL Associates: private companies with expertise in the field of housing and real estate development  are linked with EFL as EFL Associate.

EFL Expertise BV: a subsidiary company of EFL. EFL Expertise is the consulting company for EFL members and support in particular in EU funded projects.
