EFL Project “IStay@Home” approved for EU Subsidy !
A group of 15 European organisations from 5 EU contries has passed the assesment of the INTERREG NWE Programme with a positive outcome . The project “IStay”@Home” is focussed on the improvement of living conditions of elderly people and a longer stay within their homes. With the aid of modern technology, home domotics, a Wiki based information Portal for elderly and improved use of electronic devices, different pilot projects in the participating cities will be equiped. The participating housing companies originate from London, Bamberg, Düsseldorf, Antwerp, Gent, Lille, Reims, The Hague and Enschede. The group is lead by EFL member Joseph Stiftung from Bamberg. Official start of the project is expected in April 2012.
